Essex Women and Girls.
Essex RFU are proud to have 3 county squads : U16 & U18 Player Development Group and a Ladies senior squad .
Essex Senior Womens XV
The Essex Senior Womens XV, compete in the Gill Burns County Championship which runs during May, over the past years the team has played against other Counties such as Staffordshire, Devon, Cumbria to name a few. Selection and training takes place in March and April and is open to all female adult players that live in, play rugby in, work or study in the county. Essex U16 and U18 Girls
This pathway is for aspiring Girls that want to develop thier game and represent Essex against other Counties. The Team Mansger will contact clubs, schools and colleges for nominations, with asessments for the U16’s taking place in late summer and assessments for the U18’s taking place in October.
