Girls “Pitch up and Play”

We know that many clubs are trying hard to grow the girls side of the game but getting enough players to set up fixtures can be tricky.

In order to support clubs Essex RFU organise monthly Pitch Up and Play events for U12 and U13/14 U15/16 and U17/18.

These are inclusive events for all players whether they have played before or not.

The sessions are typically broken in to 3 sections:

• ⁠ ⁠Warm-up/Training
• ⁠ Touch
• ⁠ Contact

We hope that by participating in these events, players, particularly from clubs with smaller numbers, get the game experience and continue to enjoy the sport they love.
