1.Essex Appointment – Chair of Diversity & Inclusion.

The Board are keen to recruit a volunteer to lead its Diversity, Equality and Inclusion program, both in terms of the CB’s responsibility and to assist our clubs in developing and managing its own program. The post holder will promote and disseminate information about inclusion, diversity and welfare issues to all clubs in Essex. Working with the other program leads in the CB, encourage and support activity to develop diversity, monitor inclusion cross the various diverse groups and to ensure all the CB and Club’s activities are inclusive.

2. Volunteer Manager

Our volunteers are at the very core of or what we can deliver and as such The board is keen to recruit a Volunteer Manager to oversee the Counties Volunteer program including, to ensure volunteers understand their roles and welcome them to the CB, to lead on volunteer recruitment, to implement and coordinate our volunteer recognition programs and oversee our annual volunteer award events.

3. Communications and PR Manager.

This role is critical to the objectives of the CB to significantly improve its links to our Clubs and the wider community and widen the CB’s profile and boost the popularity of the game across the County.

Utilising our new website, we want to ensure that we provide good quality information and signposting to RFU and other external agencies that will provide Clubs with excellent support and advice.

To build communication channels with and between our clubs that use the latest social media channels, where a club can ask a question and receive a response within a few minutes.

PR – using the website and our social media channels, provide constant updates and news covering CB news, Essex Club News and RFU news.
